2006 Zinfandel

Our Zin hails from a vineyard in Chiles Valley District on the eastern fringe of Napa. Whereas Cabernet Sauvignon is often overwhelmed by the higher temperatures in Chiles Valley, Zin thrives in this warmer climate. We typically blend in a small amount of Petite Sirah with the Zin to give the wine a little more structure. Our Zins are ‘varietaly true,’ we like to say. By that we mean over-ripening is kept in check and as a result you taste zinfandel not pruney or raisiny fruit.
