CUTT 2007 Late Harvest Zinfandel

True to the CUTT label premise, the fruit for this wine came from an 85 year old zinfandel vineyard that was scheduled to be ripped out following the 2007 harvest with the intent to plant Cabernet Sauvignon – an unfortunate and growing trend in the Valley. Yield on our one-acre block was .8 tons resulting in a 2 barrel production. This is a fabulous dessert wine that pairs wonderfully with chocolate and caramel-based desserts as well as nuts and dried fruit.
